Welcome to Khedas premier manufacturing hub for industrial flow control solutions. We are a leading manufacturer, supplier, and exporter of high-performance Stainless Steel Butterfly Valves.
Engineered for absolute reliability, our butterfly valves provide high-efficiency, quarter-turn ($90^\circ$) rotational isolation for a wide variety of pipeline media. By combining advanced manufacturing techniques with premium metallurgy, we deliver robust, space-saving valve solutions that ensure positive shut-off in critical industrial environments across India and international markets.
Our butterfly valves feature a compact, lightweight profile designed to minimize pipeline stress while delivering maximum flow efficiency.

While it is physically possible to utilize a butterfly valve for mid-travel flow regulation, continuous throttling is generally not recommended for standard configurations.
When a butterfly valve is held in a partially open position, the high-velocity fluid stream strikes the exposed disc unevenly. This localized fluid dynamic creates intense turbulent forces and cavitation, which can rapidly erode the valve disc, warp the stem, and permanently destroy the elastomer or metal seat's sealing properties. For prolonged flow regulation, specialized control valves should be deployed; butterfly valves excel at their primary design function: rapid, tight system isolation.
Forged and cast from premium-grade stainless steel, our valves offer supreme resistance against atmospheric oxidation, chemical pitting, and mechanical wear. This makes them highly reliable for continuous, zero-downtime operations in challenging chemical processing, marine, and manufacturing plants.
For systems requiring automated or heavy-duty operation, we integrate high-performance hydraulic actuators. Hydraulic power provides smooth, immense, and incredibly stable torque delivery. This ensures precise open/close cycles under high-pressure differentials where manual operators or standard electric motors might fail.
To accommodate varied piping blueprints and structural parameters, we manufacture three distinct connection profiles:
Wafer Type: The most compact, lightweight option, clamped tightly between standard pipeline flanges.
Lug Type: Features threaded metal inserts surrounding the body, allowing for independent bolting and dead-end pipeline service.
Butt-Weld Type: Ideal for high-pressure, high-temperature water and steam lines where a permanent, absolutely leak-proof welded joint is required.
FlowBiz stainless steel butterfly valves are engineered to excel across a diverse spectrum of utility and process networks:
Cooling water loops and industrial HVAC systems.
Vacuum services and low-pressure air/gas processing.
Slurry, pulp, and similar suspended-solid media.
Compressed air and fire protection pipelines.
High-pressure, high-temperature water manifolds.
A: When a butterfly valve is used to regulate or throttle flow, the disc remains suspended directly in the center of the high-velocity fluid stream. This creates severe turbulence, vibration, and cavitation on the downstream side, which rapidly degrades the sealing seat and damages the disc surface, leading to bypass leakage when the valve is eventually closed.
A: Hydraulic actuators are preferred in high-pressure systems because hydraulic fluid is virtually incompressible. This allows the actuator to deliver immense, steady torque and hold the valve disc perfectly stable against intense fluid forces. It prevents "fluttering," reduces mechanical wear, and minimizes plant maintenance intervals.
A: A Wafer valve has a smooth outer body and is sandwiched between two pipe flanges using long bolts that span across the entire valve body. A Lug valve features protruding metal "ears" with threaded holes. This allows you to bolt a flange to either side independently, meaning you can disconnect downstream piping for maintenance while keeping the upstream side fully pressurized.
A: Yes, provided they are configured with the correct seating material. While standard elastomeric seats (like EPDM or Nitrile) are restricted to lower temperatures, our heavy-duty butterfly valves can be fitted with specialized metal-to-metal seats or high-grade PTFE linings to safely handle high-temperature water and steam services.
A: Bulk procurement can be initiated by contacting our technical sales team directly through our official channels. We provide comprehensive engineering consultations to verify your size, pressure ratings, media compatibility, and actuation needs, ensuring a streamlined manufacturing schedule and rapid domestic or international freight dispatch.
